In the valley of the Kleine Triebisch there were once numerous mills, which today are mainly used for residential purposes. The very small village of Kobitzsch once had two of its own mills, such as the Niedermühle here (the name Fritzschen-Mühle has also survived). The 2nd mill was the Obermühle (Lange mill).
