The statue of Michal, originally "Le Grand Chemin", a grandfather with granddaughter on a couch, was given a place in front of the old town hall. After all, this was the place where you had to be during your (long) life path… your birth was declared there, your marriage, your death… for these and many more official moments, this was the place of appointment.
