The village of Seyssel has the particularity of being on both banks of the Rhône. The Rhône separating at this precise place the department of Ain with that of Haute Savoie, the village therefore has two churches and two town halls: one for each department! The French administration is already quite complicated, I imagine that with this particularity, it is even more so for the inhabitants of this atypical village.
