Tips
An information board and monument recall two plane crashes during the turbulent war years. On February 2, 1945, a Mittchel with 2 British and 2 Australian crew members crashed. Less than a year earlier, on May 28, 1944, a Halifax crashed. The 5 Australian and 2 British crew members did not survive the crash.
