From Benedikt-von-Nursia-Straße, a gate in the monastery wall entices you into the herb garden. In the warm seasons, the herb garden smells of everything that the monks have planted and cared for. Flowers, medicinal and spice plants accompany you from here into the abbey's inner courtyard, which is modeled on the Baroque period except for the modern pine fountain in the middle.
