Today I walked to Hirrlingen in wonderful hiking weather. A nice varied tour. On beautiful paths partly in the forest 🌳 and partly over open fields with beautiful views 👀

In fine and sunny weather via Höfendorf and Bietenhausen to Hirrlingen. After a short visit to the cemetery, continue to Rangendingen and Hart back again.
Small but nice round, as you can often enjoy the view and almost always drive in the sun! 🌞👀

It was still snowing last night and this morning and there was snow in front of the hut ❄️
It opened around noon, the snow was gone and the sun ☀️ came through. Let's go ! 🥾
Through the forest up to the Kristberg and on to the Fulateia. Take a short break here and enjoy the wonderful view. 👀Then it went up to the Ganzaleita on a beautiful path. Then through the forest back down to the Kristberg.

Today we went to the Sieba Brünna Kneipp facility, to the Kristbersattel, past the forest school and back again. We actually wanted to go to the Wildried lookout point, but Henry did not agree. So turned around shortly after the Sieba Brünna!
We then went back over the Kristbergsattel. From here you have a very nice view of the Silbertal, Hochjoch and Klostertal.
Then we went past the forest school to another lookout point. From here you have a beautiful view of the Rellstal, Golm and the three towers.
After a short rest, we went down to St. Agatha and past the Kristberg inn.
All in all, a nice little hike with lots of forest trails and very nice views.

After we have now spent the rainy days working on the hut and this morning we did some errands in the valley and had a chat with the one and the other (you have to know what is going on in the valley) we wanted the beautiful Use the weather for a walk.
So that Henry (our grandson) got his money's worth, we went to the playground with him. For me there is no more beautifully situated playground with such a wonderful panoramic view! 👀🤩
On the way we met Mr. Ganahl. He was building the pasture fence. Since we have known him and his family for a long time, we completely forgot the time in conversation. 🤷‍♂️
The others then went back to the hut from the playground.
I made a little dangling over the Höhenweg and a very beautiful forest path. It was just heavenly, no one on the road and the wonderful nature!

We used a short rain break (we could rely on Meteo Swiss again) for a short walk with Henry. We ran with him to the "Märchenbächle".
Actually, the real name is Mühlestalltobelbach.
We named the brook about 38 years ago because we told our children that dwarfs, little goblins and elves live on this brook. The children then built small houses for them from small branches, twigs and moss.
Today our son and his child and we with our grandson go to the Märchenbächle and tell him the same story.
      Time flies! 🤷‍♂️
After we walked along the Märchenbächle, we went up to the Kristberg, past the Kristbergbahn and the saw, then we went through the forest back down to the hut.
Since Henry walked a lot of the track himself today and of course there was a lot to discover, the appropriate "speed" was achieved.
But that doesn't matter, we're not on the run! 🤷‍♂️🤣

Isolde wanted a hike into the Starzeltal today.
The start and finish was Hirrlingen. Through the village we went up to the "rear mountain" where we enjoyed the sun lounger and the view. 👀🌞🌼
The way further led us on beautiful forest paths and paths up to the "transmitter mast" and the "stronghold". Of course, Henry didn't want to stay in his baby carrier all the time and so he kept walking with us, which was very interesting for him in the forest. There was so much to discover! 👀😍
After another rest, it went steeply down to Rangendingen into the Starzeltal, where we had a snack break in a quiet place directly on the Starzel. 🌭 Here we also collected wild garlic. 🌿
Then we continued to follow the Starzel, crossed it at a bridge and then hiked up through the forest, past "Paradies" in the direction of Hirrlingen. Once at the top, we were able to enjoy the view again and across fields and meadows we went back to the starting point in Hirrlingen.
All in all a very nice hiking day with finally nice weather again! 🌞🌼👀🌭

Today we were invited to go on a hike. The motto of the hike was "blossom hike" 🌺🌼🌷🌼
We were really lucky with the weather, the May rain (although, it should make us beautiful) spared us and it is slowly beginning to bloom for us too!
The start and finish was Hirrlingen. The way led us out of the Hirrlinger sports field towards Hemmendorf, over the rain retention basin up to the "Hemmendorfer Käpfle". Here we took a longer break and there were delicious grill specialties and the corresponding liquids. 🍺🥂
Here we also had contact with the youth from Hemmendorf. As "mash ore" they filled around 300 balloons and tied them to the houses at night, with the request to let go of this on May 1st at 12:00. Today, May 1st, they organized a beer scavenger hunt. They started in groups of three and were given tasks on pieces of paper. When the task was completed, the reward was a drink (not only beer, but also non-carbonated drinks) and a new task. So in the end there was a hiking tour around Hemmendorf.
At this point, my compliments to the youth for their creative ideas. 👍
We then went down to Hemmendorf and over the Hahenbühll on a direct route back to Hirrlingen.

After the weather was fine again today, I was accompanied to pick up my car from the workshop. 🚗Today I chose the path so that we could walk a bit in the Starzeltal. It went to Höfendorf on tarred paths, which I don't really like, and then on a beautiful forest path down to the Starzeltal. Continue to the Rangendingen sports field. From here then back on the tarred path to the destination. In company it is of course more fun and the temptation to take many photos is also less, which is an advantage for some viewers. 😉😂The Starzeltal is always beautiful, whether by bike or on foot! 🤩

Today I had to take my car to the workshop. A marten has done "a great job". 🙈 In this wonderful hiking weather we went back to Trillfingen on foot. 🥾
The majority of the tour leads over beautiful paths through the forest until it then goes over field and meadow paths to Trillfingen.
In Rangendingen it goes first (Blue Cross) up towards Weilheim, Weiler-Berg. On a very beautiful forest path it then goes down to the Talbach and on a narrow path back up towards Owinger-Berg.
Once at the top it goes then (first blue cross, later blue bar, in the direction of Haigerloch) on the forest path (gravel path) to the "three countries corner" here I turn right in the direction of Haigerloch and leave the marked path, this leads over Stetten to Haigerloch and I continue on the gravel road towards Hart. It's nice down to the "Alten Hartemer Bahnhöfle" where I cross the railway line and the county road. Over an open field with varied views, I then pass the Breilreid and Salenhofweiher nature reserves.
At one of my favorite places, the "Old Oak", I took a break and enjoyed the nature and the view.
Further past the Eichhof (chicken farm) we went home. 🏡
It was wonderful to go today! In the forest the chirping of birds, I only met a deer and across the field the wonderful sun and view.
The Swabian says: "Swar hald ofach schee"! 😉🤩🌞🌷
