Seaside Path on Nordstrand Dike

In front of or behind the dyke each has its charm.

Here you can drive in front of the dike (the bike path is signposted otherwise) and has a beautiful view of the North Sea and Pellworm.

You can drive almost all around the north beach in front of the dike on the lake side, even with a racing bike, everything is paved, but you have to be very persistent in constantly opening and closing the sheep gates.
And sometimes the density of sheep droppings is quite high in some places 😂
Is just the way! The sheep came first and have house rights.
Those who want to hunt without limits actually have to follow the designated cycle paths or roads behind the dike. Then the view goes rather “inwards” over the expanses of the Kooge meadows. Not bad either 👍
