The Lad Koh Viewpoint offers some stunning views of Chaweng & Chaweng Noi Beach. It is located between the towns of Chaweng and Lamai on a hill on the ring road and was modernized and spruced up a few years ago. There is some parking and on a clear day the views of the tropical shoreline and sparkling sea are stunning.

Many cars and motorcycles honk their horns as they drive past. Next to the viewpoint is a small temple dedicated to those who lost their lives in road traffic. Thais also come here and put food and drinks on the spirit houses there.
