The 250-year-old Kallenhof, which is lovingly and historically cared for by its current owners, is an adornment of Waldorf and the entire foothills. The Waldorf painter Gerhard Ditz (1913 to 1985) immortalized the courtyard in 1984 with a lively-looking staffage of people and animals on canvas. It was one of his last oil paintings; a short time later he died.
