At this point are the bordas —small stone shelters that housed farmers and ranchers— and the guardhouse of the Ràmio dam. This construction was carried out by the hydroelectric company FHASA, who promised to build roads in exchange for the exploitation of the waterfalls. This meant a great advance for the Andorrans, who in the middle of the 20th century had very poor living conditions.
