The 'Gran Valira' is the largest river in Andorra. It flows through the capital and leaves the country in the south near the border crossing with Spain. Promenades on both sides of the river run through the whole city. In spring you can admire Japanese ornamental cherries at the height of the city park (Prat Gran).
