The Kornhaus on the north-west corner of Freiburg's Münsterplatz has a long history and was used for the Kornmarkt and as a slaughterhouse, but also as a festival hall and as a theater and comedy house. Although it looks old, it was not rebuilt in its current form until around 1970, after being destroyed in bombing raids in 1944.
