Der direkte Weg von der Tübinger Hütte nach Gaschurn führt abgesehen von den ersten Metern zwischen Hütte und unterem Punkt der Materialseilbahn über einen leicht zu laufenden Karrenweg und am Ende noch über asphaltierte Straßen. Bei gutem Wetter gibt es sicher interessantere Wege, bei Regen ist das aber die einfachste Möglichkeit, von der Hütte ins Tal zu kommen - das stetige bergab Laufen kann aber auf Dauer auch anstrengend sein. Die Alpe Garnera bietet unterwegs die Möglichkeit zur Einkehr.

Von der Saarbrücker Hütte auf 2540 m Höhe geht es durch das Kromertal bis auf gut 1900 m runter. Dann verlassen wir den Karrenweg und gehen auf schmalen Pfaden zum Hochmadererjoch wieder auf gut 2500 m rauf. Hier hat man Ausblick in zwei Täler. Der weitere Weg führt zunächst ein Stück bergab und dann bis zur Tübinger Hütte weitgehend am Hang entlang. Kurz vor dem Hochmadererjoch und später im Bereich am Hang entlang gibt es jeweils eine kurze Kletterpassage. Die sind auch ohne große Klettererfahrung machbar. Trittsicher und schwindelfrei sollte man für diese Tour aber auf jeden Fall sein. Die Grundregel beim Wandern in den Bergen, dass man die Landschaft im Stehen genießt und beim Gehen auf den Weg schaut, gilt hier noch mehr als bei den bisherigen Etappen.

Der Sommerweg von der Wiesbadener Hütte zum Silvretta-Stausee verläuft oberhalb des Karrenwegs. Er ist etwas anspruchsvoller als der Karrenweg, aber deutlich schöner. Hinter dem Stausee geht es noch ein Stück bergab ins Illtal, danach dann kontinuierlich mehr oder weniger bergauf bis zur Saarbrücker Hütte. Die Wege sind oft schmal, aber meist gut zu gehen.

Vom Silvretta-Stausee an der Bilerhöhe geht es durch das schöne Bieltal rauf zum Radsee und weiter zum Radsattel. Die Tour führt meist an Flüssen entlang, dadurch gibt es abgesehen von dem Abschnitt zwischen Kesselbach und Homberg/Ohm wenig Steigungen. Der Hinweg nach Lollar entlang der Marburger Straße ist vor allem wegen der gesperrten Lahnbrücke bei Lollar reingerutscht, da kann man vermutlich bessere Alternativen finden.
