A hike for a change: the Schotten summit tour is a well-signposted hiking trail. I started in Busenborn, so I had the steepest climbs right at the beginning, and in the end, when you are getting tired, it was more of a downhill slope.
The path often goes through pleasantly shady forests, but occasionally offers open sections with a good view. The most strenuous part in sunny weather is probably the ascent to the Hoherodskopf, which leads over meadows without shade.Without the dangling over the Höhenrundweg the tour has about 14km.

Yesterday the bike tour went to Herborn. There I took the path along the Aartalsee. On the way back, the route through the mountains between Sinn and Aßlar was only partially worthwhile, as the route through the Dill Valley would probably have been the better alternative.
