From Monte Gambarogno (1734 m) you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Gulf of Locarno and Ascona from the left bank of the Verbano. The summit can be reached on foot from Alpe di Neggia, which can be reached by car or public transport. Thanks to its relatively low altitude, this mountain is a possible excursion destination almost all year round. On the way back you can take the path to the Church of Santa Anna, which contains valuable frescoes from the 14th and 15th centuries, and thus arrive in Indemini, one of the most authentic and picturesque villages in Ticino.
