Kempten (Allgäu) Hauptbahnhof (officially Kempten (Allgäu) Hbf) is a railway junction in southern Bavaria in the town of Kempten (Allgäu). It is on the Buchloe-Lindau railway line and is the starting point for the railway lines to Neu-Ulm and Pfronten-Steinach. The first Kempten train station was built in 1852 as a terminal station close to the city centre; In 1969 it was replaced by a through station elsewhere. The old building was demolished a few years after it was closed. The Kempten (Allgäu) Ost train station is also located in the east of the city.
