  • The 12-hectare park in the east of Kempten was created by recultivating a gravel pit and is traversed by the Bachtelbach.
According to the plans of the landscape architect Peter Kluska in 1981, a park with stroller-friendly paths, sunbathing lawns, a 6000 m² pond, wet biotope, two children's adventure playgrounds, Kneipp facilities, outdoor climbing wall, open-air stage and a kiosk with a bar were created.
The Jakobus pilgrimage route also leads through the Engelhaldepark.
    Officially opened June 24, 1989.

  • In the east of Kempten lies the Engelhaldepark, which has a lot to offer with adventure playgrounds, a large pond and a range of restaurants. In addition, the Way of St. James from Munich to Bregenz runs through the Engelhaldepark.
