The Pollesalm is a very remote pasture, where not so many people come by out of season. If you drive the valley to the end, you are already in the area of the glaciers, which you can even look at in mid-summer. If you still have the thick hiking boots in your backpack (which I'll definitely do next time), you can lay down or park the bike here and then continue on foot to the Pitztal!
