The main road from Hřensko to Decin is very easy to ride on a racing bike. The asphalt is top-notch and the incline is barely noticeable. Although there is no hard shoulder or cycle path, there is little traffic and most cars overtake with sufficient distance. In summer, you rarely have a view of the Elbe or the mountains through the trees. If you cannot/do not want to use the cycle path on the other side of the Elbe (e.g. because of flooding), the road is still a good and quick alternative.
