Schloßberg 223 m, on the Kiefricht Promenade. The artificial castle ruins are a few steps away.
Info:
Cistern of the former power and road maintenance station "Schönberg" (Schomberg) from the 13th century. The brick cistern is now filled in, but is said to have been 15 ells (8.5 m) deep around the middle of the last century.
The Schandau Castle Hill, or Schomberg (Schönberg), was once an important strategic point for monitoring trade on the Elbe. The site is protected as a prehistoric archaeological monument.
