The bridge itself is nothing special, but there are lots of nice shops on both sides and lots of restaurants, although you have to be careful as some - as it says on Tripadvisor, so no personal experience - are actively trying to scam tourists.

It owes its name to the four obelisks that are located at the end of the railing. The currently existing stone bridge was built in 1580 by the builder Marchesin di Marchesini in place of the three-arched wooden bridge that had existed until then, which was built under Doge Dandolo.

The Grand Canal is the largest canal in the city of Venice, the largest wetland in this country thanks to the multiple canals of different lengths and widths that irrigate it, in Italy. This runs through Venice in an S and is followed in size and importance by the Canal Regio or Cannaregio.
