Old artificial ponds were purchased in 2012 and 2013 by Natuurpunt. Because the plots are located on the inside of a former dune, beautiful fens can be created here in the future. The banks will be chamfered and will form a swampy layer between the two ponds to restore the original situation in the landscape.
