"De Oorlandse heide" is a nature reserve close to the Kleine Nete. It contains 2 fens and a sand dune. The special carnivorous sundew grows along the banks of the fens. This plant catches and digests insects by means of a glittering, sticky substance on its tentacles to which mosquitoes or flies stick.
