Driving slowly you can discover the Kuhgrabensee, the Stadtwaldsee and subsequently many houses and gardens directly on the small Wümme. A visit to the Bavendamm organic farm should not be missed. The homemade cake is really delicious.

Beautiful wide winding path through the wide block fields.

The meadows and pastures of the Blockland stretch for kilometers south of the Lower Wümme. From the old settlers' church in Wasserhorst in the west to the Kuhsiel lock and the Kuhgraben in the east, a remarkably uniform and undestroyed cultural landscape has been preserved in the Blockland. With around 3000 hectares, it is Bremen's largest contiguous agricultural area.

The Blockland is the largest landscape protection area in the state of Bremen. Its stocks of breeding and resting birds, rare ditch fish and fen meadows are of particular value.

Not far from the city center, it is home to more cows than people and is one of the most popular destinations for many Bremen residents.

Incidentally, the Blockland is a separate district of Bremen with just over 400 inhabitants.
