Hiking Highlight (Segment)
Even people with controllable fear of heights can go downhill this way, if they can avoid the shaky descent with the gondola back to Thale in windy weather. 😊 The path was built in 1880 by the Magdeburg Railway Company for tourism purposes, it consists of a rocky path with steps, which was built with the help of dry stone walls. I fear that this path will eventually be closed, as the dry stone walls begin to break out. I took a lot of photos of my tour so everyone can get a picture. I found the path in dry summer weather also downhill well walkable, condition is tread resistance and good footwear.
