Hello Dieter! 👋It's a good idea to ride a bike in the fresh morning air. I did this last night. The feather is beautiful.

Today I followed Anna's recommendation and visited the Friedgarten Mitteldeutschland in Osmünde, and I am very impressed. There was refreshment in the very nice garden cafe. The return trip was "a bit" wet because it was raining heavily.

Stage 3 of the Harzer Grenzweg, hike along the Green Belt of Germany.

The final stage of our joint Harz crossing from Hohegeiss to Walkenried.

An exhausting tour on the column path. The ascent to the Großer Ehrenberg should be a foretaste. From the Sülzhyner hut, the mountain and valley hike starts steeply

Our final stage on the almost complete Harzer Grenzweg led today, in the best weather conditions, from Hohegeiss to Walkenried. The predominant type of path was the patrol path with its perforated concrete slabs or full-surface concrete slabs. And again a steady up and down on the Grenzweg. It was three

Hike Harzer Grenzweg / along the Green Belt

After a hearty breakfast, a walk through the Brocken Garden and a visit to the Brocken Museum, we set off on the 2nd stage of our tour of the Harz Border Trail with the destination of the village of Hohegeiss

Hello Dieter, well that was a violent tour today. But you took very nice pictures and certainly had a good view of the country from the Brocken 👍.

Great track, I've never climbed the Brocken from the side. But the forest.....isn't any more 😥 But it gets better the closer you get to Walkenried. Toi, toi, toi for good hiking weather 👍
