The lock and port city that connects seas. Brunsbüttel is located at the southern end of the approx. 99 km long Kiel Canal, internationally known as the Kiel Canal. The world's busiest artificial waterway connects the North Sea (Elb estuary) with the Baltic Sea (Kiel Förde).
