For twenty years, Georg Soleger suffered from an open injury to his foot, no doctor could help him; He often felt the urge to build a Marienkapelle in the event of a cure. But he kept putting the project off. The pain increased to such an extent that he finally made a promise to build a chapel if he recovered. After only three days he recovered.
