Kirkjubøur is a town in the Faroe Islands in the southwest of the island of Streymoy and is one of the country's main tourist attractions with three important monuments. By the end of 2004, Kirkjubøur formed its own municipality with the neighboring town of Velbastaður. Together the two places had 226 inhabitants.

The ruin of the Magnus Cathedral of about 1300; the neighboring Olavskirche (Ólavskirkjan) also from the 13th century and the oldest in the Faroe Islands preserved courtyard from the Viking Age, the royal court of Kirkjubøur (Kirkjbøargarður).
