Svartafoss is a small waterfall located about two kilometers north of the old town of Tórshavn in the Hoydalar valley in the Faroe Islands. The waterfall is fed by the Hoydalsá stream and flows into a pool-like pool. At the foot of the waterfall, a footbridge crosses the Hoydalsá stream. Wikipedia

The Tórshavn City Council has declared the area around the waterfall and Hoydalar a nature reserve. Trails have also been constructed through the reserve.
