The Kulturhaus, built in 1953/54, had to be almost completely gutted and completely renovated in 2013/14 due to massive structural and static defects. Today, the large hall offers a total of 500 seats and has a modern stage system

Built in 1953/54, the cultural center in Geisa still serves the public life in the city and especially the carnival in this Catholic stronghold of Protestant Thuringia. The statue of the "foolish goat rider" in front of the hall testifies to this tradition.
