The Observation Post "Point Alpha" was until 1989 one of the most important observation bases of the US armed forces in Europe and was considered in the Cold War as one of the hottest points. Point Alpha presents the confrontation of the two power blocs at the authentic location, the construction of the border fortifications with their security elements, but also military processes as well as the life at and with the border from the point of view of the population.
