The buildings of the Hermsdorf mill were built 500 years ago as a watermill. Today this is only preserved as a ruin. Here logs were cut and flour ground. Today, the weir "Hermsdorfer Mühle" regulates the water level of the Dahme, which is why it flows rather slowly above the weir.
