The original name of the hunting lodge is no longer known. The local population gave the ruins a new name in the 19th century, which was based on the existing names of the neighboring houses Kehrdichannichts and Murrmirnichtviel, and this is how "Schaudichnichtum" came about.
Today the hunting lodge is a ruin; there are only small remains of the foundation wall, traces of terrain and a knight's stone.

The Schaudichnichtum hunting lodge, like the neighboring Kehrdichannichts, Murrmirnichtviel and Jägerthal hunting lodges, was a lodging for the Palatinate nobility of the 18th century when they went hunting in the Palatinate Forest.
