Out of gratitude for the happy return of his three sons from World War II, Johann Wachter from Friesen had a chapel built on the Flurberg. This is dedicated to the Mother of God.
The chapel is already visible from the main road.
From the chapel you have in beautiful weather a beautiful view of the Kronachtal with the adjoining villages Friesen, Steinberg and the county town Kronach.
