Despite the rain, I set out this morning for a lap along the Steinach and the Flutmulde in the districts of Oberlind and Unterlind. The rains of the past few days have caused river levels in the region to rise. When the Steinach bursts its banks at high tide and water flows through the flood basin, the…January 15, 2023
First of all, I wish everyone a healthy New Year and lots of fun hiking, cycling and so on.
Today I set out again for a longer tour with a few meters of altitude and mostly followed the Sonneberg circular hiking trail. The wooden walkways in the Teufelsgraben are devilishly smooth and the Schöneberg has…January 7, 2023

Winter has now arrived at the lower altitudes. 😁 This morning we went up to Mönchsberg, then on to known and unknown paths to Schwärzdorf. I then walked back to Sonneberg via the cycle path. This white landscape and the short moments when the sun peeks out are wonderful. Have a nice rest of the Advent season. 🙋🏼♀️December 11, 2022

The Waldhaus recreation area near Greiz is particularly popular with families, as there is an animal enclosure there. This morning I was the first to park her car in the parking lot in front of the place. My round led through the Schlötengrund to the quarry in Neumühle. Then I walked along an unsigned…November 6, 2022
Great round that I found on Komoot.
The tour starts in Tettau, leads over the Wildberg, then continues along a columned path to Spechtsbrunn. Via the Rennsteig we went to the "cold kitchen", where there was a lot going on today. From there the tour continued along the Rennsteig to the Schildwiese. I made…October 30, 2022

This morning I started in the rain ☔️ by bus to Eisfeld to walk a stage of the Luther Trail. When I got out at the Eisfeld train station, the rain had stopped and I was able to complete today's tour dry. I found the first few kilometers less spectacular. Part of the tour led along the former inner-German…October 22, 2022

So today the finale, my tour to Thann. How could it be otherwise, even in the rain. Today the path led for a very long time along the Thur through the towns of Staffelfelden and Cernay, mostly on paved paths. Between Cernay and Vieux-Thann (Alt-Thann) I walked on beautiful forest paths. In Vieux-Thann…October 1, 2022

Today's stage was characterized by huge corn fields up to Enisheim. At the moment the corn doesn't look nice anymore and the height also takes away a lot of visibility. Interesting were the silos, which were full of corn right at the edge of the field. What always crosses my mind when it comes to corn…September 30, 2022
A few weeks ago, when I was doing a walk between Burggrub and Neuhaus-Schierschnitz, I discovered the signage for the meditation path. Unfortunately, the flyers for the route were empty at the time. I received it a few days ago and so I started today, from which I haven't found a tour to download yet…
