Above the village of Spies, the impressive Spies Rocks tower up, and have been a popular excursion destination in the Franconian Jura for decades. On them you can find the traces of the lost Spies Castle. The Burgstall is freely accessible and today serves as a vantage point.

Wonderful view to the east, the rock towers are accessed by steps and secured with railings. The castle is still very nice to understand the terrain.
