The windmill that once stood where the Sacred Heart statue now stands, but in miniature at the foot of the path that takes you to this statue. Located in a private garden, but received an informative sign from the municipality so that you can read the history again.

Replica of 'De Wesemeulen' in front of the old mill house. Mill has been reproduced in 1/5 scale model. Original mill stood on the higher location where Christ now stands. The Wesemeulen was destroyed for strategic reasons in 1914 by the Belgian army to prevent the mill from being used as a lookout post by the Germans.
