At the former border crossing Prinzenstraße is just before the Sebastianstraße a wooden cross without inscription. It is reminiscent of Heinz Schöneberger and Klaus Brueske. The 23-year-old Klaus Brueske (+18.4.1962) was shot dead when he tried with a truck to flee over the border crossing Heinrich-Heine-Straße to West Berlin. The 27-year-old Heinz Schöneberger (+26.12.1965) was shot dead when he wanted to transport two women to West Berlin in a car at this transition with his brother.
