Tips
It doesn't really matter which side of the river you walk along: the view across the Limmat to the old town is always very impressive and worthwhile. At the Münsterbrücke, which is the oldest and probably most beautiful bridge over the Limmat, you have an impressive view of the Grossmünster on the other side of the river.
