The reformer Huldryich Zwingli was a leader of the Zurich church. He was born on January 1, 1484, in Wildhaus. He was a pastor in Glarus and Einsiedeln. From 1519, he was a parish priest at the Grossmünster. He fell in the Second Kappel War on October 11, 1531.
