Tips
Definitely a highlight with the evening sun. In the late afternoon, the ascent to Evisa and then descend directly or even further to the Col de Vergio. The tour of Ota is definitely worth it. The entire gorge is very impressive.

The route via Ota is longer and peppered with more altitude meters, because after Ota it goes back down to the river, where you can stop for a swim to cool off. The additional meters in altitude are rewarded by less traffic.
