The mule trail starts from the D84 road at the west entrance of Évisa at 850 m altitude. It takes the long hiking trail Tra Mare e Monti which connects Calenzana in the north to Cargèse in the south, via Ota and Évisa. It passes over the bridge of Zaglia spanning the stream of Tavulella.
The path ends (on the Ota side) at the place called "the 2 bridges", where the D124 road crosses the Tavulella river and the Lonca stream.
