The stairs to the Steinbach Bridge in Würzburg are a hiking highlight that should not be missed. The stairs lead from the old town over the Main and offer a wonderful view of the Marienberg Fortress and the vineyards. The staircase is about 300 meters long and has 120 steps. It was built in 1894 and is a monument to the architect Franz von Stuck. The staircase is particularly beautiful in spring when the cherry trees on its edge bloom.
