During the secularization of Bavaria, Joseph Carl von Ortenburg moved into Tambach as the new lord in 1806. For the cession of his Bavarian possessions, he was compensated with the Tambach monastery. The memory of the monastic past was to be erased as quickly as possible. Therefore, many art treasures were donated to the surrounding Catholic villages. For example, Neundorf received the valuable Jacob's Fountain, or Savior's Fountain, located in the center of the village and a listed monument.
