Hiking
The Philippsstollen in Eisenberg is one of the Sauerland soul places. The mining tunnel can only be visited with a guided tour. It leads about a kilometer into the mountain and ends in the "Barbara Grotto". The theme of this soul place is “fear and trust”.

Hiking
The tunnel has a constant temperature of around 8 degrees Celsius. We were there the summer before last and booked a group tour, which was extremely informative. Because of the big difference in temperature outside and inside (see above) you got very cold without warm outerwear. But really a great experience!
Afterwards eating or drinking coffee in the nearby "Schinkenwirt" rounds off the experience very nicely. You can also spend a few days on vacation there.
