Very nice view and considerable rock formations. However, the ascent to the observation point requires some surefootedness and should only be done with suitable footwear.

A small climb leads to the top. Surefootedness and a little head for heights does not hurt in any case. The view from the top is breathtaking!

The ascent to the summit cross on the field stone is rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view. Here you can even find love locks on the security chain.

Highly recommended is the climb on the forest path, so you can work between the rocks on the summit and on the other hand visit the former ramparts. Once at the top, brave people can even climb the rock. Up here is a wonderful place for a rest and panoramic view.
If you now choose the slightly wider way direction Rothaarstieg down, you can enjoy on the way again SUPER views in the area! By the way, there is also a forest trail ... ;-)March 3, 2019

An absolute highlight and a must !! The view from the field stone (this can be climbed) is unique in every season. But be careful when going up and down. The area around the stone houses is worth a visit in any case and you can also plan it well in a hike, whether from Bruchhausen, Willingen and so on.
At the visitor center, with parking, are various dishes and regional products, including game.February 9, 2018

The up to 90 meters high Bruchhauser stones are a striking landscape symbol of this region and a landscape protection area. All are under strict nature protection, there is only one way up on the field stone with its summit cross.

High up at the summit cross, 756 m above sea level
Fantastic all-round view!
