Amazing facilities for mountain biking, with hire available from Alpine Bikes shop (you can book online at tweedvalleybikehire.com), bike washing and showers, lockers and changing rooms as well as a great cafe. Toasties are highly recommended and some delicious cakes too.

Great cafe to stop in for a brew and a snack before or after hitting the trails. Also has a well-stocked bike shop. Plenty of car parking spaces and a spacious and clean shower area and lockers if you need one. A bike wash is situated near the car park. Green, Blue, Red and Black graded MTB routes to suit all abilities.
Been visiting Glentress since 2005 and never get tired of it.

The Gateway Building is open daily from 9am - 4pm. The café is open Monday to Friday: 9am - 4pm (last food orders 3:30pm) and Saturdays and Sundays: 9am - 5pm (last food orders 4:30pm). The Alpine Bikes shop is open daily: 9am - 5pm.

Car parking charges:

£2 for up to 1 hour
£3.50 for up to 3 hours
£5 for full day
£20 for minibus and coach all day
