Backhaus Böhne (Historic Bakehouse of 1839)

The historic bakery from 1839, also known as the Böhne bakery (after the farm of the same name to which it belongs), is set back from the main street "Ellernstraße", which connects Oberlübbe and Unterlübbe, on the small street "Eichengrund". The Bakehouse Böhne with its solid field stone masonry and half-timbered gables, surrounded by old trees, has been a gem since it was lovingly restored by the local heritage association in 1991, as were two other historic buildings. Baking days and other activities of the local history association take place here several times a year. More information at: heimatverein-oberlübbe-unterlübbe.de. Even outside of these dates, the area around the bakery is freely accessible and can be used for a rest.
