HOAG Rail Trail

That's what I call sensible recultivation: An old railway line from the colliery traffic of the time was converted into a very recommendable cycle path. There are also plenty of opportunities to take a break with a beautiful panorama.

The signage is first class and you always know how long it will take to get to your next destination. In addition, you don't have to wait long for the next resting place on the roadside. Top!

I also think this route is great, I just want to carefully note that it is not just a bike route. I really enjoy cycling there, I also enjoy walking there, as do the residents of the retirement homes. Unfortunately, I had to find out that we cyclists do not show enough consideration for pedestrians and that the residents avoid the route at the WE because there is reckless "cycling".
