The Röthelmoosalm, often just referred to as Röthelmoos, is an almost 10 square kilometer large alpine plateau in the Chiemgau Alps north of the Weitsee. It is about 9 kilometers southwest of the center of Ruhpolding at an altitude of about 880 m above sea level. NN up to 940 m above sea level NN. The Röthelmoosalm can only be reached on foot or by bicycle/mountain bike.
